Department: Legal & Compliance Headquarters and Risk Management Division

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review marketing materials and related documents
2. Handle the registration and reporting requirements to the appropriate financial regulators and associations
3. Create, update, and assess internal policies and guidelines
4. Coordinate with international colleagues from Legal & Compliance as well as other business divisions like investment teams
5. Review various contracts, such as fund trust deeds, investment management agreements, and general contracts
6. Assess investment guidelines to ensure compliance
7. Provide compliance training and advice on regulatory and internal policy matters to employees
8. Oversee general compliance issues within asset management
9. Address risk management and compliance-related incidents

Requirements:

• Familiarity with asset management operations, including fund management, offshore funds, and both public and private alternatives in the Japanese market is a plus, though candidates with potential are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in both Japanese and English, especially in reading and writing.
• Legal background and relevant experience in compliance or risk management are considered beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
