Responsibilities:

• Advising business leaders on legal and compliance risks to support growth, ensuring protection against significant threats. It involves legal consultation, reviewing materials, and providing training across different business areas.
• Responsibilities include leading investigations into compliance issues, coordinating with global stakeholders, and reporting findings.
• Executing regulatory requirements, optimizing processes through automation, and promoting a culture of compliance and transparency within the company.
• Supporting digital initiatives, collaborating with IT to develop business models while ensuring data privacy and drafting contracts to support partnerships and growth.

Qualifications:

• Qualified bengoshi in Japan or qualified lawyer in the UK, the US or Australia
• Minimum 8 yeas of post qualification experience
• Business-level English or above
• Someone who can work as a business partner, giving proactive & appropriate advice to business
• Healthcare background is highly preferred
